You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Harrian answered "My story? I was raised in a fishing village not far from here, my father's a fisherman, However I hate the water and the smell of decaying fish. So he's sent me to this dump of a town" Harrian looked around awaiting an answer.

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: By not peforming unrealistic actions that my character are not capable off for example, breathing fire as a human or being backflips off a church. Also not forcing actions onto other players, for example if im fighting someone I can't emote that my attack landed and cut their head clean off.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It creates a situation where you have an unfair advantage over other people. It could ruin entire storylines if you bring information out of character into roleplay. Ruins the game for yourself and everyone involve, For example, sharing secrets about the king because he told you in voice chat as a laugh but you use this information in Roleplay to spread lies.
