Bonham and Velosh Raam were born into an obscure blacksmith’s household in the territory belonging to the Norlanders called Athera and was conscripted into the local militia at the young age of 12. They had several run-ins with the Storm Sword militia and fought along side them on many occasions under the leadership of Vorn. They fought in the Schism war against the Schismatic League. The brothers both learned the art of craftsmanship and combat. Both learned the art of the bow and sword. Velosh, unlike his brother, took to the bow more than the sword as he found more enjoyment in shooting long ranges that took a masters eye and skill to complete. The brothers both served for 6 years until they turned the ages of 18. Then they became mercenaries for the next 5 years. Later they both decided to build their own head quarters and make a name for themselves by starting their own company called ‘The Dark Guards’.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
