Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Etsumi slowly sits down holding onto her bag "My name is Etsumi I'm from a small group of elves in the forest but I've always wanted to explore and settle down somewhere bigger." Fidgets with her bag straps. "My village mostly keeps to themselves and focus on survival so I don't know much about our history and culture let alone the world itself." pauses "Really I just want to find a place to settle down start a business though I'm not sure what yet maybe whatever I can find thats of value to others." trails off before continuing while still fidgeting. "And maybe be able to make some friends and companions along the way while also getting to see the world." Sits up straighter at the thought. "But I also want to learn to use magic!" She exclaims. "I haven't seen much of it as a kid but im eager to learn since my parents mostly kept me inside the house or working in the garden so I didn't get to talk with others so I'm not that good with conversations." laughs a little nervously twirling her hair with her finger. "Back in the village is was only me, my parents and our dog Sam the other villagers kept to themselves so we weren't a close community and thats why I want to explore and meet new people maybe even find a village thats close and helps one another!" uses her finger to brush her hair back. "and as you probably notice I fidget ALOT from being nervous around people but I'm hoping to change that!"
