How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: A mistreatment of outside knowledge, which a player uses to gain knowledge which their character would not or could not have learned or came across. It is something which can allow people to gain an unfair advantage due to knowing something which makes their character able to act on something which they could not have acted on with their actual knowledge and understanding. Like a player somehow knowing of a secret order or sect which had not been disclosed to their character, yet to them as an outside individual.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: A misuse of the roleplay system which some players may abuse in order to gain a godlike form of power such as being unable to die in Roleplay. Such as someone saying they instantly kill another player in RP without their consent to do so, and without hesitation, or a player being killed fairly and saying that it "did not count" or that they "just came back to life" as a justification for not wanting to die. They essentially posses powers which could not be gained in RP and gives them an unfair advantage over other non-powergaming players.
