Xolkug was born into the Lak clan, son of a powerful orc with many mates. Thrown into the klomp pit at age 3 he stood before a mighty sand scorpion, and as the clan watched this great undertaking, all he could do was run. His father, ashamed that his seed would be so cowardly began to beat and scar him. The many other Lak orcs stepped in at this un-orc like show from the father, and he was banished from the goi. With his tusks cracking and chipped, Xolkug left the clan aswell. For days he scoured the desert looking for a way to appease Laklul so that he may return to the clan. The dire wolves and other beasts in the forest gradually broke his spirit, his body now scarred by a hundred claws and stings. Spirit broken, he roamed the desert for many weeks, until he had happened back upon the wonka woods. As he slept beneath the tall trees that offered shade, an old orc passed by asking him for a klomp to the death. Rising up, he refused, as he was an elder, and too weak to be an honorable fight. They sat beneath the tall tree and the old orc taught him about the traditions of the orcs and their culture that he could not learn with his self-exile. The old orc pleaded him to return, as he was now a true orc. Splitting ways, the old orc went on pilgrimage and Xolkug returned to the goi, a true orc now, and a true orc of Laklul.
