Bob was born into a hard working class family with no siblings, as a lonely child he was expected to help provide for his parents as they grew older. Bob took up his fathers trade as a lumberjack at the age of 14, though worked more as an apprentice for five years. At the age of 19 he worked independently absent from his fathers presence in order to provide a higher income for his family. He travelled around the realm and cut trees along the border of the Dominion of Malin in order to get rich elven wood.
However, due to Bob's intense workload he is illiterate, does not know how to write or read nor does he know how to handle money. Bob became quite a frequent visitor of the local tavern and subsequently gambled and drank his money away. This became a pivotal point of his life when both his parents starved to death due to Bob's poor financial handling. He became enraged with himself and fell into a deeper hole with gambling and alcohol.
