    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the abuse of a player's knowledge to push any character's ends in ways that are unfair to the players and characters around them.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the disrespect of other characters' agency in their desire to pursue their own courses of action. Powergaming is also the assumption that any one given character is immune to failure for the purposes of executing on any given plan without interference from the environment or other characters.

Regarding your inquiry about magic: Magic Roleplay is only directed through RP and has no mechanical features, all magic should be roleplayed through emotes and the user must have an accepted magic application (These applications are used so that magic is not abused and used by everyone) The user, with an accepted magic application, must have roleplayed the necessary roleplay in order to learn the magic. Metagaming the use and knowledge of magic is against server rules, I hope this has helped.
