Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old halfling raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Me? Do you wish to read me like a book?!" Elowi glares down at the halfling. "I've come here with my brothers to take what is offered." Elowi pauses, "I've come to regain the honor of our family and you will provide us enough provisions to travel to the next town or you face the full wrath of my brothers, Mazrin, and Althor." He exclaims "My family has fallen so far from it's former glory, and we will stop at nothing to regain our stature!" The air around him grows acrid and his face drops to a scowl, "Now, give us what we need. Or else..."
