Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"I am a traveler that comes from far away. I have been traveling alone since I was 14. I my only family is my older brother that I haven't heard from since 3 months. I grew up in one of these small villages. Most of the time famillies like this eighter all work together on a farm, or part ways and never talk again..." His expression darkened. "And my brother doesn't really like me. He is... Well... Really... How do I say that... Fighty? And I'm more of a pacifist, so... Yeah. I want to become a mage in the future. That's probably why my brother doesn't like me. He hates magic with all his heart. That is why I'm looking for an experienced mage that could teach me how to do magic. I like the unknown, and that's the most unknown thing I can think of. It's my biggest dream. And when I have a dream, I make it come true. That's my way of living. I was just passing by, when I saw this town. May I know..." He looked at the old hag with a little suspicion, but a lot of curiosity. "...who you are?"
