She looks up at the man, rather short for an elf as many might notice. Her eyes stare into his as she comes up with some sort of answer, never being the best at lying so this was quite difficult. With a small quiver in her voice she responses, “Oh I didn’t see you there, I believe I’m here to..” She glances down at his attire, trying to depict his social status, “Gain money. Yes I’m here to find a living for my family.”
