You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

With a hand placed on their satchel, Valmyre eyed the older woman for a split moment. His nose scrunched tightly against his own skin, feeling unsure of whether to trust the hag or not. Though, realistically nobody would really know who he was in these farlands. The high-elf rose his hand and placed it on the top of a chair, preferring to sit up higher than be on the ground, cushioned by some dirty fabric. " We're just looking for somewhere to stay, we don't plan on doing anything special around here. " Valmyre gestured over to the other high-elf that stood outside of the tent nervously, now leaning further back on the chair. " Both of us were recently shoved out of our home village, forced to fend for ourselves. They didn't exactly approve of our recent studies and experiments. " He crossed his arms, cocking an eyebrow up. " Just between us, I plan on continuing those experiments. They're sure to make me more coin than anything else could. "
