El_Hangman

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*Dunmar would look up towards the old hag sniffing the air of the swamp and sneezing at the musk of it* "Aye, da peoples talken ta me down a ways told'me ya meght be able ter help'me wit a wee problem." He would rumble his body towards the cushion turn away from it and them give a little hop backwards landing somewhat softly for a dwarf of his stature.* "Ahm looken fer a place ta settle for a bit o-time, ahm wanderin teh world an such and would like some lodgin in return for my hard labor." *Dunmar would look around a bit, taking in his surroundings a bit more since he first entered the hut, noticing the floating candles as well as the mysterious lack of anything else inside the cabin.* "Ahm, I don' mean ta sound rude but eh, is this really where ya live? Its a bit barren no?" *He would clear his throat a bit* "Ya see where I lived before was shabby but eh this may be a new level. I came from teh far mountains west of this here land. It was a beauty ya see, the maintains touched sky, the trees tall and strong, the people... Well actually tere wasn much people odder den me mums and me pops. But dey died a while back. I suppose thats why ahm here see, ya get a bit lonely in teh mountains by yourself, only so much to do." *He would wipe a small tear from his eye* "A bit hot in here eh, ahm sweatin like crazy, but Ah suppose can get used to it eh, the company will make up for the weather!"

(As a secondary thing, not particularly involved in roleplay. I think I used to play on this server years ago, maybe in like 2020 or somewhere along those lines. I believe I got banned though I am not sure what for anymore. Figured I would apply to see if I would be able to play again with you guys, if not its understandable but hey, worth a shot, right!)
