Elrodeon

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Sevarion would blink slowly as the candlelight danced across his broad shoulders, head dipping slightly to avoid brushing the top of the tent. He gave the hag a half-smile. Earnest, a little confused but ultimately not unfriendly.
"Well, I was following a deer trail." He'd say, voice low and smooth. "Didn't mean to end up here but... If you've been expecting me, guess there's no point in turning back now."
He'd ease into the cushion, lowering himself to the ground with a hefty thud. 
"My story, huh? Alright then... Let's see now." He shifts on the cushion, muscles easing as he rests his hands on his knees.
"I come from Nevaehlen, deep in the Isle's forests - trees large enough to block out the sun. I had a quiet life growing up, and was barely this tall..." He stopped to measure an unimpressive height with his hand.
"When I first had to lift a spear, not for glory, but to keep the wilds in balance."
He rolls his shoulders, gaze flickering towards the tent's flap as if picturing the forests of his homeland.
"Most folk say I've got more brawn then brains. Spent most of my life as a defender..." He paused, pondering.
"Perhaps they're right. I never took to much grove tending, or any extended prayers. But I did take to protecting people and hunting." He offered her a grin, warm and boyish.
"I guess that's what brought me here. My home is safe and well, but the rest of the world?" He scoffed.
"Listen, I ain't sure what you see in me, hag - but if you say you've been expecting me, then I figure the Aspects ain't done with me yet. So... What now?"
