Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Jiya glances away, as she wasn't quite expecting to have to answer something like this this early in her journey. "I-I can't quite say I know myself. My family was always so certain that I would find my role in this world, but that time never came." She starts grabbing at her robes in her lap to relieve the stress. "Before I knew it, I had packed my things and was out the front door without them even knowing." Tears start to show. "I can only hope that this journey leads me to where I need to be."
... (after some sort of inquisitory follow up question)
"I-It's not like I hated what my parents wanted for me! But ever since they tried to train me to become a weaver..." *A wave of guilt* "It... just didn't FEEL right. I was damn near a prodigy, but I never had the heart to tell them I didn't want that life." ... "so I left. One day the pressure was just too much."

Roleplay sample.
- almost there! Add a little more detail into your backstory, perhaps who your parents were, what they did, what lead to your character packing her things and leaving.
