A man sent to these lands hailing from a kingdom in the Eastern Continent, to act as a ‘one man diplomat’ so to speak. Sent there not to ease tensions through means of well spoken words or deliver personally written letters. But to showcase the power of the people of his country by reminding the people of these lands what they were capable of through sheer might. Magic? Forged weaponry? Technology? Their show of force is not through any of those means, rather through sheer martial prowess cultivated through years of conflict and resolution.
While Tawanchai himself is nowhere near as high strung as the higher ups who run his country's government. He is what one would call a ‘seeker.’ Merely cooperating due to his insatiable thirst for combat and pride in his fighting prowess. Making a name for himself, obtaining wealth, even showcasing his nations might are all second rate desires. His true wish lies within his fists. Though he does have an affinity for alcohol.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
((How does your character respond? Please ensure your response is at least six sentences long, and uses at least two actions.))
“ Huh? Was me being foreign to these lands that obvious? Ya know that kind of stuff’s rude. “ *While Tawanchai wasn’t caught off guard by the old woman’s sudden appearance, his gaze still looked around in intrigue, captured by the many wonders this little shack had to offer. Jokingly responding like this to the hag due to how she was piling questions on to him, while proceeding to accept her offer of taking a seat.*
“ I’m sure from just a glance you can see I hail from an . . Oh so mighty nation filled with the wisest of emperors who certainly know better than the kings of this country! Hehahh.. “ *He’d say clearly making a slight mockery of those in power, both in this country and even his own. Not necessarily coming from a place where he thought he was better than such authorities, but rather that he considered them all the same in regards to looking down on others they were no different than.* “ And I’d be doing a pretty poor job for my ‘great country’ if I were to say I have other means I hope to make of myself . . . So I’ll just ask you this, could ya direct me to the nearest tavern? There I’ll be able to quench my ‘thirst.’ “
