Dottie was born to a small family in Belvitz, bearing no last name. She grew up under her mother and father, her mother was a homemaker and baker and her father was a cobbler. She learned much under her mother, learning how to bake in her free time, and she even learned a thing or two about shoes and shoe fixing! As she grew in Belvitz, she saw many people pass by on the crossroads, always wondering they went. She never went far beyond Belvitz, the farthest she had ever gone was past the Dragur Library all the way to The Cloud Temple for a short trip with her father on the occasion of him selling a fancy pair of boots. Her wonder festered as the years went on, and when she was eighteen she decided she was old enough to go out and see what life was like without her parents, who had just moved to a more remote area with the rest of the family. So now Dottie is alone, and looking for something to do on the vast open road beyond Belvitz!

She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
