    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using Out of Character information to your advantage In Character. In simpler words, cheating.
    Example: So, if Bosco were wandering through the woods, but I saw that bandits just attacked someone in chat, metagaming is Bosco changing his plans because I don't want to deal with bandits.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Basically, creating an RP godmode. Making your character OP.
    Example: Bosco found a potion that changes the will of those that consume it! He puts this potion into cakes, and convinces an entire town to make him mayor!

Bosco looks around him at the others walking nearby, trying to understand why this man is targeting him. It's obvious the man is talking to Bosco with his craned neck looking down. "Oh, sire, I'm here not just for adventure, but to sample your greatest cuisines." Realizing his appearance may seem a bit... shoddy, Bosco speaks up again: "Where might I find the finest restaurants?"
