Lothos Darkthorn was a bright, outspoken boy growing up. His family consisted of his father, Bomzan Darkthorn and his mother, Dechena Darkthorn. Lothos was an only child. His family was not significantly wealthy at all, in fact, they were very far from wealthy. Oftentimes citizens would criticize his family’s lack of wealth, which angered Darkthorn greatly. As a young teen he was known to be very violent and disturbed due to the bullying and nit-picking from his comrades. Darkthorn was never once ashamed of his family, he loved his family greatly. Even if they never had the money to accumulate passionate amounts of jewelry and fabric, Darkthorn never complained. He was known to be hot-headed and made often careless decisions, which was looked down upon in dark elf society. As most dark elves are considerate and passionate in their decisions. Darkthorn grew up in the province of Renelia, a city of law and order. He was never a fan of following particular laws and abiding by rules, but as a young elf, he grew accustomed but conveniently still caused trouble in his youth. His family was strictly conservative but very passionate and wise, which Darkthorn acknowledged and admired. Lothos, in his later teen youth,  was a proud swordsman and enjoyed skirmishes with his fellow elves. Religion was a huge player in his youth as well, although he did not fancy certain activities involving it, he was a proud young boy and sought out his family’s approval. Darkthorn grew up alongside two dark elf women, one he was presumed to marry. Although he was fond of this woman, he was not in love with her. And turned to the other elven woman, Kira Bulvic, for advice, knowing she had long to leave the city as well. Which he later found that the woman was being trialed and accused of the murder of her former brother, Dante Bulvic and was in hiding.  Lothos trusted the young elf and believed she did no such crime. He talked of leaving Renalia and venturing to another home of freedom with Kira, which she obliged knowing nothing was left for her in this town. But time in the military was a necessity in his community, Darkthorn sought his hours thoroughly. But once he finished his military date of five years, he and the young elf maiden, Kira, planned to leave the city, only to never return. Though oftentimes he missed his family, he knew if he were to go back, nothing but shame would fill him. He did not love the woman they intended for him to elope with. And this was the price of it all.
