    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using knowledge that you gain from external factors to your advantage. If your character doesn't have any reasonable way of knowing such information then it shouldn't be used. Which could include voice chats, texting, or researching online.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Buffing your character to the point where he/she is unreasonably powerful. Which can lead to the plot being dragged down and the overrall fun being dragged down.
