    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: When a person is metagaming they are taking advantage of information they've gotten to know out of character, during role-play. An example of this can be that a character knows how to practice magic or is aware of an unrevealed secret without having learned this while role playing.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming would be when someone acts all powerful and untouchable in any way. The character is flawless and cannot be defeated by anything, for example.

Something seemed to explode in Janina's mind as she tripped off the ship that had taken her to this new destination. She looked around and tried taking in the massive market in front of her. It was overwhelming, yet so exciting. Jaxina was right about to begin exploring the amazing place as someone approached her. A man, dressed in some fancy garments and with a welcoming smile on his face. He asked what brought her to the city and she just stood there for a few seconds, quite startled. "O-oh, I heard about the many job opportunities in this city, and as I'm both unemployed and in need of a fresh start, here I am!" She smiled brightly. "I guess this is a great way for me to discover who I really wish to be."
