You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))

They sat down, looking at the woman. "Heh, You really wanna hear that?" Wisp asked with a chuckle, crossing their arms and leaning back. "Well, I lived in a cave system for basically all of my life.." They started, taking a moment to pause and think. "But of course, the cave had to collapse. I was left without my home, so I decided to leave" Wisp explained to the woman with a simple shrug. "Cool place by the way." They added, glancing around the tent. Specifically looking at the floating candles, though they didn't question it.

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I ask permission before doing a thing people potentially could see as OP (e.g. asking to drag another user somewhere else, fighting, etc.). And I try and keep it realistic to the RP. If I am unsure if something is considered powergaming, I will ask a mod or ST member. Powergaming is highly frowned upon and very disruptive as it allows characters to preform unrealistic acts, such as beating twenty soldiers with only one character, etc.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming is making your character know something said out of the roleplay, its annoying and unfair. it disrupts due to the fact your character does not yet know, making it overpowered. It is also out of place and odd due to this being told/said out of character. An example of metagaming would be a character knowing what happened in a conversation they were not present at, because their friend told them about it OOCly.
