    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a player uses knowledge that their playable character would otherwise not know to their personal advantage. For example if a player were to receive notice of a heist while out of character they would use this to their advantage and thwart whatever was going to happen.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when a player attempts to make their character inherently stronger, smarter, or otherwise better than other characters. A good example of this would be a player abusing the general lore to make their character omnipotent.
