*character skin, proper spot won't allow me for some reason so i just put whatever picture file on my pc would work, my apologies!*
You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
*Jer'k'o feels the room with his vision, analyzing the surroundings to determine the threat level of his environment, constantly on defense. As his sight fixes on the woman before him, he suddenly feels a wave of calm wash over him, and he replies;* "My name is Jer'k'o, as you can see I'm Mali'ker, a Dark Elf." *The woman fixated on Jer'k'o, almost smiling as he finally takes a seat in the ramshacklef shelter.* "I was raised in a peaceful village made right by a waterfall cavern; I'm not sure where it is in relation to her but i can tell you for sure, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen besides my dear mother. My parents were pacifists and wanted to raise me away from the conflicts of the world. They were loving and good hearted people, but a good heart is ill armor against a bandit's steel." *Jer'k'o's body tenses up as a strong sadness takes over his face.* "One day our village was raided when I was barely out of my mother's arms; the local thieves and my home had an understanding for as long as i could remember, but one day something snapped and they came to us with bloodthirst in their hearts. I haven't found any other survivors since then, but there's no way i can give up hope yet. Those merciless bastards killed both of my parents right in front of me and branded me before tossing me into the waterfall, and I've been seeking my revenge on them ever since then. I have no dreams of peace and happiness any longer, for the bloody path I've chosen is one devoid of mercy and compassion."
