Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Ciriel leans her head to the side and wrings the rainwater from her hair. "Thank you for letting me in, I've been walking through this swamp for hours and now this rain, eugh..." She shakes her shoulders just to feel a little drier. "Ahh... I'm dying for a hot bath".
Ciriel walks over to the cushion and sits down on the cushion with her legs crossed. "Well, my name is Ciriel. Raised in a small port city by sailor parents." Ciriel stretches her arms " And so I was drawn to the sea from the very beginning of my life." She smiles "I was still a little girl, when I joined a crew of my own. My uncle was this ship's helmsman and he taught me the ropes. Those last 15 years were quite an adventure; sailing through uncharted waters, battling storms, visiting cities and breaking many hearts along the coast."
Ciriel sighs, while smiling to herself. "Last storm was particularly nasty and it caught us off guard. I was thrown off board and lost at see, but of course, the sea didn't take me this time" She laughs it off. "I woke up on shore and somehow managed to get here. Heh" She pushes her wet hair back with one hand and glances at the hag "So how about that bath?"
