Born in year 1792, Valen was a kid living in a small village in the Kingdom of Norland. He has a lovely little family, until his dad went out onto the frontlines to fight monsters. It was a normal day, and his mother had just finished cooking dinner, and as they were waiting for the father to return home, a fellow comrade of his broke the news to the family, the news of the father's death. It was a turning point in Valen's life, as he had realized that his perfect family was not perfect anymore. At that moment, he realized that these mortal beings were nothing but monsters, built to kill each other. Leaving his family, Valen dropped out of his high school, becoming a highway bandit, and ditching his mother and little sister in the village. His father was his only friend, helping him when in need, and teaching him how to become a real Highlander. Remembering his father only made his hate for mortal beings grow even more. His master plan was to prove to everyone how the world was created by Iblees and that God and the Aenguls were also his own, making him the ultimate being. He never had any friends, as he distrusted anyone and everyone that came in his path, for all of his old friends had betrayed him. Throughout his life, he tried spreading the word, but he wasn't able to find anyone that can help him, for most people thought he was a maniac, and a madman.
Looking at the bothersome man, Valen states "I'm looking for getting some coin. These items must be worth a fortune!" He then walks away, a large bag filled with jewelry, weapons, and artifacts on his back. A small stand emerges before him, with an old woman running the trades. He hands her the bag of items, saying "How much for this bag o' gold?" The old woman then hands him another bag filled to the brim with mina. He takes the bag, returning to his boat and sailing away to another city.
