    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is basically when a character uses information their in-game character shouldn't know about. For example, if a player uses information from the real-world to use in-game, that would be considered metagaming.

His mother died after giving birth to him and his brother. He was taught by his father to always be a kind and honorable person. He dedicated his life to his twin swords. He focused for 20 years solely on the art of fighting with two swords. He ran away from his home after his father was killed in an attack by Haelun’or assassins against his citadel, having nothing left there for him. The incident, in which he saw people he new slaughtered in front of his eyes, changed him forever. Something also stayed with him that night, and it was the memory of his brother’s face underneath the cowl of the Haelun’or uniform. He became a calm, cold, and calculating character whose ambition was to become the world’s most skilled spellsword in order to protect those he cares about.

Physical Description: A tall and athletic figure, about 6 feet tall, with two swords on his back. Black and white-ish armor. Icy, blue eyes. Dirty white hair.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
