Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Franc's eyes adapt to the candle light. His head slowly tilts as he examines the tent. Finally, his eyes rest on the old woman. He narrows his eyelids, and speaks: "How do you know me?"
The wrinkled face of the old hag forms a subtle smile, as she asks: "Tell me your story"
Franc, always staring at her, slowly takes a seat. He turns his head a last time to examine the room before opening his lips:
"I am just a man from Alba." Franc uttered, as he leaned back and breathed in. His gray eyes wandering along the hag's face "I left the city recently. You know, there is no future there for someone like me. There is also no one left for me back in Alba." He moved his eyes away from the Hag as his thoughts wandered "My father was murdered by a drunk guy in a fight. Pretty unremarkable...". He snapped back to reality and slowly leaned forward, his head tilted as his eyes shifted back to the elderly woman. His jaw tightened, and his dry lips moved: "I do not plan on dying as miserably as he did". "Anything else?", he said, in a frustrated, yet distant tone. This woman had wasted his time long enough. The Hag looked satisfied and Franc noticed a smirk under her crooked and slightly hairy nose. Franc distorted his face in an expression of disgust and promptly left the tent.
