    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is leveraging knowledge that shouldn't be known in character for an advantage, usually in a roleplay setting.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Roleplaying scenarios in an unrealistic way, generally with the intention of "winning". This can manifest in a variety of ways such as death-defying martial feats of strength and agility (* senses the backstab right before it connects and deftly dodges before perfectly parrying with an unblockable counter-attack of his own). Another example would be abusing game mechanics in a way that doesn't appropriately reflect the roleplay scenario (e.g. a character casting fireblast the day after their introduction to fire evocation).
