You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example:
"Huh, what do you mean?" He eyed the old woman before eventually taking his seat. "well. . . I've got nothing better to do." He said, taking a deep breath before he finished collecting his thoughts. "To start, I'm not really from around here. It all started back at the old country, lived with a pretty big family." He seemed to lighten up as he spoke of his family. "We lived in the mountains with the rest of our people, the streets filled with music and joy. Then. . . me ma died." His face turned grim. "She was right here. . . and then my entire family seemed to implode. My pa drank more than he was at home or worked and a few of my brothers disappeared. I guess I left too, everything reminded me of her and I suppose I hated that she wasn't here so I ran. I left everything behind, going as far as I could until. . ." He simply stopped talking, an unreadable expression on his face. "I guess I went as far as I could and ended up here." He stared into nothingness, seemingly lost in thought.
