How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: By knowing the parameters of your character, As a player, you should understand that you cannot lift full-on mountains and throw them at people.. Summon a sea god and drown everyone and do other impossible feats by yourself. You should take note of your character's strengths and weaknesses knowing your race. You should try to maintain a realistic mindset while fighting/playing with your character. When wording your actions you should not try to do./me Would slam the (person's) head into the floor causing their skull to break and them to die. | That would be an example of power gaming that you should avoid.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming gives an unfair advantage over other players roleplaying, Say you were robbing someone in a discreet unknown location, Metagaming would be like telling your friend on discord or in some other 3rd party application that you needed help robbing this guy in (specific location) and to hurry and come. The characters played by the attackers would not even know that they were in said location. Its unfair to the person you are robbing because you and your friend are using ooc info to overpower him. this can apply in other scenarios as well.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

((How do you respond?))

Example: Looking up at the candles briefly, "I'm here for the Magic training." He replies, Then looking towards the back of the tent, slightly gazing at the elderly woman hearing what she had to say before walking overtowards the Cushion. "Thank you for the invitation, I'm very eager to learn from you, You seem quite wise." You say with a confident look upon your face, Sitting down upon the cushion below you, placing your hands in your lap. "My story? Well.. I have been wanting to learn how to fight for the longest, Especially in the magical arts. Me and my wife have traveled far to learn together."

"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until… you head into the tent, raisng the curtain as you walk in, Eyeing the crone directly.
