You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Avrothia kneeled down upon the cushion that she was gestured to as she studied the woman in front of her "My story? I was born in the eastern lands - near the ocean. I don't remember much of my family, as my mother had abandoned me two years after my birth. That's what I've been told at least." She let out a melancholic sigh "My mother dropped me off to one of her friends to raise me, her name was Rose. Sadly, she's long passed from an incurable sickness. I was never in one place, always travelling and such - I suppose I simply wandered here. I want to find my family once more, to figure out why I was left behind... and maybe start anew with them."
