Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Oh, me? Uh...phew, I fear it isn't as interesting as one might hope."
She shifts a bit and hesitantly sits down on the cushion. The flickering of the candles reflects in her eyes as she contemplates her answer
"Well, I'm just a traveler. My parents were very...proud Mali'aheral. I've always taken an interest in learning about other cultures, despite their protests. Well, I finally decided to up and do it. Though I'm not very good at braving the wilds yet."
She smiles meekly, then looks around the tent some. The odd smells make the tent seem more ominous than it already is, but Kilyn's curious nature makes her stay longer. She looks back at the hag, awaiting some form of acknowledgement of her answer
