    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is doing an emote that is physically and/or mentally impossible for your character to do

     Preto was born and raised in Carolustadt. His father is a Heartlander and mother being a Farfolk (Qalasheen) and because of his mother being Qalasheen he is a bit more lean than most and able to long great distances fairly quick and efficiently. A downside is that because he is part Qalasheen he can barely harness any magic. Although his mother came from Kadarsi Caliphate, Preto hasn’t been able to pick up any Qalashi, and his mother has fully integrated into Heartlander culture.  He and his family are peasants, his father being a smith and mother being a seamstress. Preto got a basic education and was able to help his father in smithing when he was of age. During free time Preto would socialize with others and his friends and spar with his father, his father’s father was a soldier for the Empire of Men and taught Preto’s father some moves. Preto’s father now passes on these moves to Preto himself when they spar. Even though Preto has spent his whole life in Carolustadt he is still quite skeptical on religion and wants to believe but has seen no definite proof because of this his main goal in life is to try and find some sort of proof but he can’t let other Heartlanders know because they exile those who are doubtful and does not want to be with the rest of the exiled. When Preto finally felt like he was old enough to go out on his own his parents gave him one last gift, the blue painted iron and grey cloth armor with gold entwined, he currently wears.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø Your character’s interesting facts and traits should be sentences of at least five words. Make sure to provide a clear character flaw as well. Being lean isn’t really a character flaw.

 

You’re nearly there however there are a few changes that you must make to your application before you can be whitelisted. You have 24 hours to make the changes above.
