Arne is not originally Azuras, stemming from land far far North where it was always snowing and rough and where battle was part of not only tradition, but custom and entertainment. he belonged to a band of thieves which he stumbled across in a bar. Being a small lad, he was never much a fighter, only if he really had to, but was more known for his nimble feet and his pickpocket abilities, making him a stealthy lad, but he was still handy with daggers. This band of thieves stumbled across rumors hearing about great riches south of his land, and set out on an expedition to see if those rumors were really true, but instead, his ship got stuck in a storm, eventually causing it to sink and get lost in the sea. Arne was the only survivor, or at least so he thinks. He escaped on a row boat and eventually washed up on the snowy lands North in Azuras. He is not personally aware of any family members, but there must be a mother and father somewhere out there.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Arne's eyes roamed around the shack for a moment, seemingly analyzing the room before his eyes locked onto to the old hag. He stayed mostly quiet, walking over and sat down where she motioned to sit. He broke the silence after a moment, saying flatly, with little emotion behind the kids voice or his facial expression "Heard this land was rich, now I'm stuck here." and simply left it at that, not adding much to it.
