    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: To avoid power gaming in roleplay you refrain from using actions that make your character unrealistically better than the other character. In other words you give yourself an advantage in roleplay, that is considered powergaming. Say that you are fighting someone's character in LOTC, then you rp that you can fly meanwhile your character really CANT do that. Thats powergaming and its unrealistic. To avoid powergaming in roleplay you refrain from doing this kind of rp in all roleplay interactions you get into.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts fair roleplay because you are grabbing the advantage in an rp situation by telling someone your location and giving them rp that they are unaware of ICly.. This can ruin fair roleplay because if you guys are having genuine rp and then a fight breaks out ICly and then the other person tells their friends on a discord call where they are, and then they all start coming out of no where.. This ruins fair roleplay and it becomes unfair, unfun and just unroleplayable.

Physical Description: Tan skin, long brown hair. She'd have gold bands wrapped around her arms. Her ears are pointed, She wears a white top and a blue & green skirt.
Roleplay Scenario:

Lirael is super quiet and doesn't trust anyone right away. She grew up in the woods, away from people, and talks to animals more than humans. She came to this creepy swamp town looking for a lost pendant that belonged to her mom..
 


"Oh-  um.. I'm not here to cause any kinds of trouble." She'd say, shifting on her feet. "I lost something really important, and I heard someone here might know where it is." Lirael would then snap her eyes back onto the person to meet their gaze and blinked while scratching the back of her head in utter confusion..  Lirael Starleaf looks at the old hag, then slowly sits on a rock.. She gives a simple nod, not saying much before pulling her cloak tighter, glancing around the tent nervously as if she didn't trust the old hag. "My name is Lirael," she says quietly, voice barely above a whisper. "I lived deep in the forest with my mom for most of my life. One night, someone broke into our home and stole my mom's magic pendant while I was out gathering herbs. My mom got really sick after that, and I think the pendant was keeping her healthy. I've been traveling ever since, trying to get it back. Someone told me the pendant was last seen in this swamp town, so I had to come here, even though it creeps me out." She says, while nodded and giving a dry chuckle.. As if the situation was normal?! A small grin formed on her face, scratching her head but she gave little to no story almost as if she just found herself in a pickle. Was she really searching for her mom's old pendant? That was the question but what was the answer? Guess they'd never know..
