Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Stalling in the doorway, the young dark elven mans eyes dart first to the candles, then the face of the hag, studying her in return. "Well," he begins "You can call me Ovil, but I suspect you may have known that already." Ovil's eyes never stray from the woman's face as he slides forward to drop into the offered seat. "However, I can't promise my stories are of any interest to you, most aren't even my own-" with an rueful smile he reaches into a belt pocket to produce a small leather bound book. "- I'm an artist. I draw the places I go and people I meet. Perhaps you would like to let these speak on my and their behalf?"
