Belwin frowns at the bustling bazaar, the noise of countless people grating on the ears. She generally disliked traveling to these big outposts for a reason, and the rather cheerful gentleman asking questions was not helping. The woman gives the man a distasteful look, "Sir, I'm here on business. I have no aspirations of grandeur as you say, I'm only here to find work and hopefully be paid handsomely for it." She steps past the man, giving him a shove as she passes. Adventure? Wealth? Hah, what a joke! No, things would be the same as they always were, Moving from one job to the next and so on and so on. That's all she's good for anyway. As she strides through the crowd a sinking feeling of dread falls over her and she lets out a tired sigh. Just the same as always.

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is basically where a Roleplayer uses information gained outside of RP and In-character Interactions and utilizes them IRP. For example, if a roleplayer knows who the Super Secret Big Bad from the Lore, allows their Player Character to suddenly magically know who the Big Bad is, that would be considered metagaming. Or if something was happening elsewhere in the roleplay, and your character would realistically have no idea what's going, and you go and participate, that would also be metagaming.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is basically taking actions that are unfair, unrealistic, or controlling (or all three if you're really being naughty) This could be forcing actions onto others, regardless of how realistic they are, ignoring the effects of magic, and doing things that could break the lore.
