Haskraw

Rut was born in southern Krugmar. Her family lives by themselves in a small cave, further away from any clan territory. After she and a single younger sibling were born her father got fed up with his wife and left. As the years passed and Rut grew more independent she felt frustration towards her controlling mother. Rut also constantly had to take care of her younger sibling. She didn't enjoy that responsibility.

When she was 17 Rut wandered off during the night to watch a path that leads to Krugmar from the south. She spotted a hooded wagon and a couple of orcs sleeping around a campfire. Out of curiosity she went to see, and there underneath the cloth thrown over the wagon was a cage and inside it a half-elf. The creature got scared, started cursing at Rut, insulting her and telling her to leave them alone. Rut got very annoyed, she hadn't hunted in a while and the instinct to harm the creature was kicking in. She managed to pull the half-elf towards her through the bars and stab them. Rut hoped that she silenced the slave fast enough, but the other orcs had already woken up to the sounds of the commotion. Rut ran away, leaving the precious slave to bleed to death, getting followed by three sleepy yet very angry orcs.

Rut was never found by those slave dealers, maybe they never even saw her face, which she is still unsure about. After the incident she didn't return home, however. She didn't want to risk her remaining family by leading some angry orcs straight to them. Or perhaps that was just her excuse for finally leaving and starting her own chapter. Ever since, Rut has been wandering the outskirts of Krugmar, creating her own adventures.
