How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is basically using outside sources and information that would otherwise not be available to the character you are roleplaying. Like if I were to look up how to use dark magic on your wiki instead of finding a teacher in game.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming, also known as godmodding where I usually roleplay, is going beyond ability and is cheating. If i were to be killed in roleplay but acted as though i were not dead, or if I were to roleplay an instant hit on someone.
