How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is taking information given to you OOC and using it in the RP. Say someone told me that their character was allergic to milk, and I turned around and had my character stab him with a milk tipped blade.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming occurs when a character performs a feat they typically would be unable to. An example of this would be a situation in which someone who normally has to walk with a cane suddenly can run at fast speeds and perform martial arts.
