Hugo Bishop is the rough translation in to the common tongue, the original dwarfish name is actually Hornbori Bisi. Meaning when read from back to front 'leadership bearer'. And his name suited well, for he was a dwarven mining foreman. He had always worked deep into the mines to expand the ever growing dwarven population. His gifted skill was that he had great insight. From just a solid wall of rock, givin the time, he could make elaborate structures true to grand dwarven design. He saw shapes in natural occurrences that no-one ever saw.
Due to this particular skill set he was noticed by the dwarven mining chief, who set him out on a mission to fortify and expand the settlement. He took great pride in his work, just like any other dwarf in their particular profession. But more so then others, knowing he would be creating structures that would live on millenniums after he would have perished was a great honor to literately carve his name in stone for the rest of dawn.
As a dwarf of the ripe age of 44 he wondered what else he could learn, after learning about all ancient dwarf building/mining techniques. And so he requested an audience with the king. For he would want to wonder trough the known world, in order to find new idea's for building and ever better and more beautiful home for the rest of kin. He request was granted by the king and so he set out in the world to return home a later date. But today he was starting his journey to other dwarven kingdoms to learn and observe their grand structures.....
