    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when my irl person knows information but my role player character hasn't learned this information yet and i use this as a strategical advantage
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you make your character unkillable by not allowing anyone else to get hits on your character using emotes

My character (Jimmy Fang/Hypeshark) comes from Atlas from a town called Belvitz. I came from a humble home with a mother, father and one brother(MySonIsInTheOven). My father was a blacksmith and would spend hours working on new projects for the warriors of our island. He used to make me and my brother swords to practice our combat with, but one day my brother and I went out to practice our combat with friends and when we came back we discovered that our hut had burnt down with our mother and father inside it. My brother and I then decided to pick up our things and leave as there was nothing left for us in Belvitz. We then took a carriage to Haense where we started our new lives we originally wanted to become priests but our appearances stood in the way. My mother was human and my father was an Elf so we were born as half-elves, we are not very good looking people.  When we tried to become priests the people rejected us, so we vowed to never help people again and started our life of crime, and here we are now.

Physical Description: My character is a 6 foot tall, black half-elf, heavy armor making him look fatter then he really is, athletic build, blue eyes, beard
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

  • I need you to please elaborate on your Powergaming definition. It seems to be close, but not quite correct. Here’s a link to our wiki definition. Please remember to use your own words! (Powergaming)
  • You must be born within the main land of Atlas, therefore you need to change that bit of your bio. 
  • Your second interesting fact is not quite a major enough flaw in your character. Please add more information on it, perhaps your character doesn’t like talking to people due to his stutter. 
  • Your third interesting fact is inappropriate and will require a change.

  • In the time period which this server takes place, there were no busses. Instead please perhaps change this to carriage, or something similar.
