Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"I.. m-my story..?" He focuses on the space between his shoes, noticing how his hands are shaking. "W-where am i. I was just- i was..." where was i, he thought. She stands up with a sigh. "How do you know me?!", he snaps, defensive suddenly. She raises one brow high before lowering herself to his height again. "Kid everyone knows who you are at this point"- She eyes him that distinct way he's seen others do before. "You're always out here causing trouble, only to get lost within 5 minutes." Memories come flooding back: He was walking down the streets to... to buy the flour his dad had forgot to buy for dinner. That's what he was doing, he thought. "what's your story this time, kid?" He looks back up at her, hands still now. He's up in one swift motion, the technique his dad taught him the other day coming in handy, the one that's part of his training to become a samurai like him, and runs for the first opening that catches his eye, "Goodbye Miss.. uhh... Cya!" He runs down the street. Turns left. He runs a little further just to make sure she wont catch up before switching to a steady gait, catching his breath. His hands go in his pocket and he feels something heavy in one of them. He pulls it out. It's half a blue rock, the inside of the rock looking up at him with bright smooth spikes that probably hurts. He runs his hand over it. Nothing happens. Oh...i guess that's why i was there, he thinks. He glides the rock back into his pocket to hide it. Not that anyone probably cares. My precious, he thinks to himself as he makes his way to a stall in his beautiful childhood town, located in Azuras. He spent his whole life there and it's got the most gorgeous little flour stall at the end of the street, half built into a mountain. walking by a show his parents always liked he ponders about his childhood. Having recently turned 18 still living at home he feels the pull to move out. To find his call. His father is a well respected samurai which has always put a lot of pressure on him, being the eldest son. Its weird to him. His whole life he has strived to become a samurai like his dad. It felt safe, real. Like that's all he was ever meant to be. But lately it doesn't feel that way anymore. He returns home that day, putting on the same confident posture and smile like he always does, while confussion and uncertainty grows inside him.
