    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using outside knowledge to the benefit of your RP character. For example, your character doesn't know where a secret place on the map but you do because you read the forums so your character just stumbles upon that very secret place.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is doing something that is not realistic for your character/making your character too op. For example, if I roleplayed that as soon as a fight began, I smashed my opponents head in without a fight. That would be powergaming.
