You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh! I, uh-" they fiddled with their fingers as they looked behind them before looking back to the hag. "Well um.. I was born in Amaethea. My parents owned their own flower shop. My mom, she was a bit of a mage. not a powerful one though, but she could do cool things around the house and shop." They'd go on, "There was this one time where all the plants dying because of some disease, but she managed to heal them all and within a day, all the flowers were blooming and back to life. But I should go on. I was inspired by my moms magic and even though I couldn't learn at the time, I tried recreating it with art and music. I got really into music and painting when I was a kid. I'm not too great at singing but oh gosh, if you gave me a flute or a lute or something? I miss those days, really." Chae looked down at the ground as they continued, "Um.. I cant really do that kind of stuff anymore. I was 14 at the time. One day when I got home, my mom and my dad we're just.. Gone. No trace, no note, nothing. they were just missing. I hung around for a while but, I couldnt really stay their without parents y'know? I packed my bags, left a note incase they came back, and left. Ever since then I've kinda been just traveling around and now I'm here." They took a deep breath and looked up at the hag, "Now, what can I do for you?"
