You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"I'm Just passing through, I am a messenger for the Mountain Dwarf colony" He blurts out "and I am traveling to the Great Wall to meet with the king" Tukholir adds "You see, my people are at war with the Goblins, they are attacking our coal mines and forests." He stutters as a cool breeze enters the tent and throws off the hood of the old hag, as it reveals her green and massive ears, her yellow and crooked teeth. Tukholir gasps as the witch pulls out a bent and twisted knife from her rags "Well we cant have you telling the king about our plan now can we?" He bolts from the tent only to exit and see himself surrounded by Goblins armed with spiked bats and frying pans "Oh dear" He squeaks out before it goes black...

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I would avoid powergaming in roleplay by using words like "attempt" etc. in emotes to avoid the forcing of any actions.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts fair roleplay because it give players info they shouldn't have known, creating un-realistic events and giving an advantage / disadvantage for some roleplayers. Ruining / making it hard to continue the roleplay scenario.
