Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"My story? I don't remember much, frankly, nor do I know why I should tell you." Ertokera paused, proceeding to take a deep breath as his shoulders tensed.
"You should have no interest in me when you yourself need to worry on your past and present. You've been expecting me, too? How have you heard of me?"
Ertokera crossed his arms, abrasive with his replies. He glanced around the area before looking at his tattered clothing, his gaze hardening with each passing second.
"You don't need to learn about others when you have so much to learn about yourself. The way you keep yourself and living environment is telling on how you think, you know."
Ertokera then paused, noticing how one-sided the conversation grew as the old woman listened. He felt a sense of remorse for one moment, relaxing his demeanor. Shortly after his body tensed up again. 
"You remind me of something I'd prefer to forget, aren't you aware of that? This town, everything — You all need to take a moment and understand how... Frustrating it is."
Picking at a part of their sleeve, he began to reminisce of a time he once mentioned. His eyebrows furrowed as he turned to the door. 
"The things you should know of me is my name, Ertokera, and the reason of my stay being I am 'exploring.' You can consider it running away, sure, but I hold myself up to a standard of learning."
Storming out, Ertokera refused to allow the old woman to say anything. He understands some day his actions will catch up to him; for now, however, he'll enjoy living with the ignorance he shouldn't have in the first place.
