You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Lysanthir Makes His Way Over To The Cushion, And Sits Down. His blindfold was tied tightly around his eyes. He had hovered near his cousin, Umbra for a bit of extra support. He stared at the darkness covering his eyes before he opened his mouth to speak;
“There isn’t much to say about us, ma’am,” he began with a simple, but elegant shrug. “I feel as if you know what we are already. I’m Lysanthir- what you call a Wood Elf. And my ‘cousin’ here-” he trailed off, allowing her to introduce herself.
“I’m.. Umbra and I am dark elf”
“We grew up together, pretty much. Did things all children do. Get in trouble, make friends, you know how it is.” He explained.
“Some more than the other but we stayed by each other's side”
“Our parents didn’t seem to mind. I think they rather liked our relationship. Nonetheless, we’re dwelling too much on the far past. We grew up together, and still stuck with each other through adulthood. We learned and grew from each other, pretty much.” He stated with a small smile.
“For how we came upon to where we are today. I was chosen to go on my discovery journey & little Lysanthir here decided to tag along in secret, following me until we reached the road.” Umbra said, messing with Lysanthir’s hair.
He sighed. “Sadly, it’s true. My love for this elf has taken me rather far on my journey. But I am determined to see this through, despite my recurring uncomfortableness of being so far away from the one place I call home. But the nearby forests offer a sense of security, at least.” He was stock still, fingers twitching every once in a while as his senses were on high alert — a common thing the moment they started on this journey.
Although blind, he looked up, his gaze moving toward the old hag. “You are a wise woman? I would think so, even if I cannot see. I trust you will keep this information with you, and not decide to do anything malicious. How, I’m unsure, but there’s always a way. Thank you for your time, but I think it is time for us to depart, do you not?” He asked as he turned to Umbra.
“Yes, we should. I shall thank you for letting us spend some of your time!” Umbra said bowing in respect.
Me and a friend are playing close friends(they just say cousins bc it's what they called each other for years), so we just tag teamed this and input our responses together. Hope this is fine.
