Born on the The Meranesian Islands, Aeson was the son of a Dark Elf couple. Having no other children, his first few years were spent learning of the sea and how to navigate it. Then, following a falling out between his family and another Dark Elf family, who was more influential in the area, Aeson’s family was forced to leave. Taking a ship, donning the clothes of the outside world (as opposed to their cultural clothes) they embarked to find a new home. Tragedy struck at sea when Aeson’s family became the target of a rather unfriendly ship. Cannon-fire tore their small vessel to shreds, a piece of shrapnel hitting 17 year old Aeson’s face, causing him to lose consciousness and fall into the waves. When he awoke, Aeson was on the ship that had attacked his families vessel, a pirate ship. He spent the next 12 years aboard the ship, working as a deckhand and being fed little. Then one day they were attacked by a Human ship, bound to trade some spices and other such cargo. However this ship bore more skilled fighters, and most of the crew of pirates were slain within a half hour of combat. When questioned, Aeson told the men everything, including his status as a forced deckhand upon the ship. They gave him a small boat and some supplies then sent him off towards land. 

Fueled by these events, Aeson sought people all around the world, using his long lifespan to learn and master swordsmanship and the art of sailing, as well as visiting a few less reputable locations to gain connections and begin his life as a Pirate. He even spend some time with the Warhawke Tribe, learning the different ways of Dark Elves and other races from the Chieftain and the Conclave. Being native to the islands alone, he quickly soaked in all the knowledge he possibly could. When he returned to his place of birth on the islands, he was ready. 

Now his time has come to start looking for a crew...
