You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Jaren sat in a kneeled position on the cushion, he nervously looked around "Pretty cozy home you have Ma'am, I have been wondering around the region stumbling in this place out of all things. Haha..." he looked down with an awkward look "Sorry I meant to say that, I'm lost again sorry ma'am".
The old hag chuckled, "It's fine young one, many come here by accident, and purpose, don't doubt your misfortune."
Jaren bows slowly at the old hag and smiles, "Thank you, Ma'am, about my story. I used to live in a village on a mountainous island where I lived with my dad, a hunter, and grandparents. My mother died of an illness... don't worry, I already moved on from it" he sighs while he looks down, "Anyways, my grandfather tells me about stories of our ancestors and how the former empire that they used to live had destroyed." Looking at the old hag with a genuine smile, "They were Amazing!! Our culture and the people, I want to know more!!". Jaren suddenly makes a face of concern, "But my grandfather is getting old to a point he can't work anymore, I am afraid that he won't be here for long, which is why I want to honor him by going out and rediscover the empire that he told from his stories." Jaren chuckled.
The old lady smiles at his story, "It seems you are ready to go... May your journey be filled with joy and honor."
Jaren takes a deep breath and stands up, "thank you for your time Ma'am, Ill get going its time for me to create a story that my family will be proud of." he bows at the old hag and leaves.
